These are the most popular high performance singles carburetors in the sport of motorcycling. Mikuni’s VM Series round slide single carburettors have proven themselves as the performance standard for use in any single cylinder motorcycle and ATV applications for motocross, enduro and trail riding, to flat track racing and road racing on both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines.

Mikuni’s (flat slide) carburetor, the TM Series Carburettors provide significant performance improvements over older round slide carburetors. Air flows faster and smoother through the TM Series venturi due to the flat slide design and the jet blocks which help create smooth bore effect.The high velocity of the air flow means a stronger vacuum at the needle jet providing more precise metering and better throttle response.

The RS series Carburettors feature a compact design which is 25% lighter than other performance carburettors, offers quick needle jet adjustment, and uses readily available standard Mikuni jets. On street engines, very rarely is there ever a requirement for additional jet purchases with this superior delivery design precisely metered fuel irrespective of what ever the air flow volume or velocity, making these a simple bolt on, hold on and go option weather it be a 750 or 1100cc engine. Carburettors are available in 34, 36, 38, and 40mm bore sizes with standard carb spacing for some Suzuki and Kawasaki motorcycles.

We have achieved greater air flow and fuel flow through extensive testing to provide maximum output. Special needle valves and springs give optimum pop-off with large high and low speed jets.

The Jet Needle controls the fuel mixture in the midrange (1/4-3/4) throttle position. The taper of the needle determines the amount of fuel. For example: the thinner the diameter of the needle, the more fuel will be drawn. The thicker the diameter of the needle, the less fuel can be drawn.
